Frequently Asked Questions

Do students like Healthy Connections video therapy?

Yes! Students take to video therapy sessions very well. Due to the pandemic and remote-learning, most New York City students now have access to a computer or tablet with internet at home and at school! Home sessions are also great for quick "check-ins" with family and caregivers.

Can you work with teacher and staff as well as students?

Yes, teachers and staff are also adjusting to "the new not-normal" and returning to school. It is important to provide small and larger group sessions for teachers, counselors, and staff. These sessions allow them to create healthy professional peer connections, share best-practices, address challenges, and provide mental health education and support.
